Intimate Wedding in Madison, Virginia with Family Reception at DuCard Vineyards
Introducing the new Dr. and Mrs. Conrad Dear! What a beautiful last name for a wedding too. Married at Graves Chapel in Madison, Virginia, this couple had a beautiful two-day wedding celebration with close friends and family in the Dear’s hometown in Madison, Virginia. These two planned their wedding while long distance, states apart and both in graduate and post graduate school. In fact, Conrad graduated from medical school just one month after their wedding! Talk about dedication.
Intimate Graves Chapel Wedding Ceremony – Central Virginia
On a gorgeous Friday in April, the couple tied the knot with just a few close friends and family at Graves Mill Chapel in Madison, Virginia. They based their color scheme around the deep blue military formal attire, adding hints of chinoiserie blue and white print and stunning floral arrangement to the already adorable white chapel.
Family Wedding Reception at DuCard Vineyards
The day was focused on spending genuine time with family and friends. Besides the formal ceremony, the rest of the day felt like a typical evening at a winery with friends and family. After portraits, we headed to DuCard Vineyards to enjoy some dancing, food, drinks, and an absolutely stunning sunset with mountain views. DuCard planted the most gorgeous tulip field this year, which just barely hung on for us! The tulips perfectly framed Hannah and Conrad in the mountains at sunset, making some of my most treasured wedding portraits taken to date!
Tented Wedding Celebration at Rose River Farm, Madison, Virginia
The next day, we gathered again to celebrate Hannah and Conrad, this time at Rose River Farm, the Dear family’s business and home. What a gorgeous venue! They welcomed a larger crowd of friends and family with a receiving line on the patio overlooking the mountains. We battled some rain, wind, and fog for a while, but everyone was too excited to notice. Later that evening, the fog cleared and gave us the most gorgeous cotton candy sky!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Dear danced the night away with friends and family from all stages of life, with the help of a live band and a few drinks. Weather be darned, we had the best wedding weekend! Congratulations to these two, and thank you to all the wedding vendors who made this day possible!
