Planning a wedding at Wintergreen Resort
Corissa and Mitch chose Faded Poppy to be both their wedding planner and florist. As an experienced Wintergreen weddings vendor, Sara with Faded Poppy absolutely was the best choice! Weddings in the mountains can be challenging, with no cell service and lots of moving parts to coordinate–moving items from ceremony to reception site, shuttling guests around, and making sure vendors have found their way through the winding mountain roads. It’s best to work with vendors who have been to the area before.

The Tilsons chose green and blue hues for their wedding colors, which perfectly matched the mountain backdrop and stunning Blue Ridge landscapes. They had their ceremony at the iconic overlook, and their reception on the sunny terrace behind the main lodge. They had an intimate guest list of just a few dozen friends and family, all gathered to celebrate them. The afternoon was filled with dancing, excited chatter, and meaningful conversation.
