King Family Vineyards is an award-winning, family owned and operated wedding venue nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Conveniently located in Crozet, Virginia, this venue is just a quick 15 minutes from both Charlottesville and Staunton. Offering a versatile array of indoor and outdoor spaces, they can accommodate weddings of all seasons, rain or shine. Say your vows on the lawn with views of the mountains, vineyards, and maybe even some horses at the polo barn. King Family Vineyards is perfect for those seeking a blend of naturalistic beauty and timeless elegance.

Venue Capacity and Layout   

The lawn is a vast, well-maintained grassy clearing encircled by beautiful rolling hills and mountains. It is the perfect spot to exchange vows in the spring, summer, and fall months. It serves as a beautiful empty canvas for you to design the ceremony of your dreams! 

Just beyond the lawn is the enchanting Carriage House. With ample seating for up to 200, the Carriage House is the perfect setting for receptions and indoor ceremonies. With lots of natural light, beautiful oak floors, exposed beams, and a towering stone fireplace, this space feels elegant with a touch of rustic charm. Just outside the carriage house is a lovely patio boasting a large fire pit where guests can enjoy the fire pit and take in the beautiful views. 

Connected to the main room of the Carriage house is the North Gallery, most often used for cocktail hour. This space, though sleek and modern in character, still retains the simple rustic touches familiar in the venue. For more intimate celebrations, such as rehearsal dinners,  the Pavilion is available at an additional cost. This space is very much like the Carriage House with all its charm, just on a smaller scale.

Rain Plan at King Family Vineyards

Ceremonies that were intended to take place on the lawn can easily be accommodated to be moved inside the carriage house in the case of inclement weather. There is a small covered porch area for portraits with natural light even on rainy days. And the North Gallery offers lots of window light if you prefer full cover from the weather. 

Getting Ready Spaces

Spacious and full of natural light, The Dressing Suite is perfect for you and your wedding party to spend the morning getting glammed up. On the other side of the carriage house is the lounge. With a rustic masculine edge, it serves as a great place for your spouse to get ready and relax before the ceremony.

Accessibility

The wedding spaces at King Family Vineyard are all on one level for easy accessibility for your guests with more limited mobility. The parking lot is gravel, and may be more difficult for them to navigate. But, there is handicapped parking by the wedding venue entrance, and ample space for guests to be dropped off near the sidewalks. 

Wedding Venue Cost

The cost to rent King Family Vineyards for your wedding day varies depending on the season and day of the week. This pricing information was retrieved in 2024. Please check with the venue for the most updated information. Saturday weddings from the months of April-June are $12,000 for the day. Saturday weddings in March, July, and August come in at $11,000. Friday and Sunday weddings range from $5000-$9000 depending on the month.
