In Charlottesville, we’re lucky to have many stunning outdoor venues — but not many that combine upscale indoor accommodations with wide mountain views like this. It really is the best of both worlds.

One of my favorite moments here was when a couple arrived at their reception on a classic trolley with their wedding party — it made the transition from ceremony to celebration feel joyful and unique. Later, during portraits on the lawn, the bride had a detachable bow with long tails that caught the wind against the mountain backdrop. The movement, the scale of the landscape — it was stunning.
