After my wedding, when I received my gallery, what struck me were not the images from the ceremony or the ones I knew were being taken, but the images of my guests from moments I wasn’t around for. My favorite part about working with wedding clients is giving them their album. Imagine you’ve just gotten home from your honeymoon, and you’re starting to unpack, and you receive an email from me with your wedding gallery! If your collection includes an album, all you have to do is take a few minutes to pick out your favorites. My “posing” is the same concept — I want to find a way to show off who you guys are, what you mean to each other, and what you were feeling on that day. So, instead of telling you exactly what to do, I may try to make you laugh, or have you tell each other something sweet, or maybe even make you slow dance! Anything to get a real, authentic smile. I want you to remember how you felt, not what your photographer told you to do.

 

I offer an engagement session and at least one physical print with every single wedding package, no matter how many hours or what option you choose. Those two things are so important to me! Your engagement session is your “first date” with your photographer 😉 It’s my chance to get to know how you guys work and who you are, so I can do an even better job at the wedding. Plus, it’s your first family portraits together! You’ll want some photos for your home that aren’t in wedding garb, for sure. The print… well they’re the best part! Something tangible to look through together, deck your walls with, christen your new home, share with friends and family. I am a print fanatic, so if you work with me, you’re leaving with prints in hand.

 

I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, Virginia Wedding Network (VAWE) and their Wedding in a Box Program. This means that (1) I am background checked, experienced, insured, and professional, and (2) I have an awesome gift box to give you once you book with me worth $2,000 in offers and special discounts from other vendors! Pretty sweet, right?

 

Wedding packages begin at $1,800, and elopements or small weddings at $800. I offer a military discount for service members and veterans.
